Terms of Service
Buckshot for Mac · Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Buckshot (“Buckshot”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the Buckshot Mac app, its website and its server (together, “Buckshot”). By downloading or using Buckshot you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Buckshot.
Your account
You sign in to Buckshot with your Google account, and that account is your Buckshot account. You're responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, to buy a paid plan.
Plans and payments
- Free plan: Buckshot can be used for free within the limits shown on our website and in the app (for example, a number of send-outs per week, people per send-out, and lists). We may change the free plan's limits.
- Paid plans: monthly and yearly subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown on our website and at checkout, and may change; a price change never affects a period you've already paid for.
- Founder pricing: from time to time we may offer a limited number of founder prices. A founder subscription keeps its founder price for as long as it stays active; if it's cancelled and ends, the founder price ends with it.
- Our reseller: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Renewals and cancelling: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the link in your receipt email or by contacting us; you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Trials: if you're offered a free trial, your subscription starts and you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Lifetime: a lifetime purchase gives you the paid features of Buckshot for as long as Buckshot is offered for Mac, including updates.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Using Buckshot responsibly
Buckshot sends messages from your own Apple and email accounts, to people you choose. You agree to:
- only message people who know you or expect to hear from you, and not use Buckshot to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or anything unlawful, harassing or misleading;
- only send files you have the right to share;
- follow the rules of Apple, Google and your email provider for the accounts you send from;
- not try to get around the free plan's limits, interfere with Buckshot's server, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer Buckshot.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Your content
Your contacts, messages and files are yours. They stay on your Mac and go only to the people you send them to; see our privacy policy.
Updates and changes
We improve Buckshot regularly and may add, change or remove features. Some features need an up-to-date version of the app. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
Disclaimers
We work hard to make Buckshot reliable, but it's provided “as is”. Buckshot depends on services we don't control, such as Messages, Gmail and your email provider, so we can't promise every message will be delivered, or that Buckshot will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to Buckshot is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
If Buckshot stops
Buckshot may not be offered forever. We may stop offering Buckshot, its server or some of its features at some point. If we decide to, we'll let you know in advance by email or in the app, stop any further subscription renewals, and share a plan for winding down, including how to keep your contacts, lists and history (which are stored on your Mac). A lifetime purchase lasts for as long as Buckshot is offered.
We aren't responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages or changes at Apple, Google, Paddle or our hosting providers, changes in law, or natural disasters. In those cases we may not be able to give advance notice.
Ending
You can stop using Buckshot at any time. If you'd like your account deleted, contact us.
